Shocker supporters and WSU volleyball teamBob Schutte ’67/69 (pictured at far right, back row) studied mathematics at Wichita State and parlayed that knowledge into a successful career as an actuary with State Farm Insurance.

There’s simply not a more raucous supporter of WSU, its educational offerings, alumni, students and student-athletes than this founding president of the Central Illinois Alumni Chapter. Last November, Schutte hosted an alumni and team dinner for Shocker volleyball coaches and players at Biaggi’s Restaurant in Bloomington, Ill., where attendees celebrated the Lady Shocker’s victory over Illinois State.
