Spring 2010

President's Corner

Whoever coined the phrase “time flies when you are having fun” must have been a WSU Alumni Association member. Over the past few months, I’ve had the opportunity to attend a number of wonderful alumni association events – many of which are highlighted throughout this issue of The Shocker.

These events provided a wide range of opportunities for supporters of the alumni association to remain engaged in a university that we are very fortunate to call our own.

I have greatly appreciated the dedication of those serving on the association’s board of directors. In conjunction with an extremely talented and dedicated association staff, everyone works tirelessly to ensure that the association’s programming and events remain fresh and relevant.

As I finish my term as president, I also want to thank you, the dues-paying members of the alumni association, for remaining committed to Wichita State University and the alumni association. Your continued support helps strengthen an already strong alumni voice and advocate for Wichita State.

Go, Shocks!
