The start of a school year brings on a flurry of activity at fraternities and sororities.
This year was no different, especially for WSU’s newest Greek organizations: Pi Kappa Phi fraternity and Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. Pi Kappa Phi joined the Greek ranks in October.
The organization was invited to colonize at WSU in 2011 during the Interfraternity Council expansion process. “Pi Kappa Phi is beyond excited to join the growing Greek community here at Wichita State,” says Patrick Smith, coordinator of expansion.
Kappa Kappa Gamma accepted the offer to start a chapter at WSU in April 2013. “We are thrilled to be part of this vibrant community,” says Chelsea Dyer, chapter consultant for the sorority.
