Shockers Forever Update

We here at Shockers Forever are excited for new and continuing events for our student group and our campus! This year, our Core Group is headed by Margy Long, with Emily Blount vice president, Sierra Logan vice president of homecoming, and Margaret Ussery secretary. I’m director of marketing and public relations, and Alie Melton is director of outreach. General Core Group members are Michaela Stephenson, Kamika Hicks and Elissa Failes.

This semester, we were able to hand out our first Shockers Forever Traditions Book, which has challenges to get our members involved on campus and in the community. Our bi-annual Dine with an Alum event was a success, with six alumni and 25 students in attendance. As this semester nears its close, we as a group are focusing our attention on planning Homecoming 2016, which is our big event of the school year.
