In keeping with Wichita State’s emphasis on innovation and entrepreneurship, the WSU Alumni Association helped bring an F45 fitness studio to campus.
The studio opened Jan. 9 in the Heskett Center. After F45 workouts – “F” stands for functional training and “45” stands for 45 minutes – became part of the Heskett Center’s slate of Shocker Fit classes, class attendance nearly tripled: 1,419 in January 2017 compared to 553 in January 2016.
Now, the WSUAA is partnering with F45 to offer the opportunity for entrepreneurs to become an F45 franchise owner. Potential franchise owners in the Wichita area met on campus for F45 Franchisee Draft Day, which featured an exhibition of F45 training, a meet-and-greet with the F45 team and a discussion on how individuals can profit as franchise owners.
